SpongeBob's Greatest Hits will be released on July 14, 2009. This brand-new full-length album features seventeen tracks of original music from the past decade of the hit animated series, as well as new hits like "We've Got Scurvy," an original song performed by Pink, and a remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song performed by Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley. Also included as a holiday bonus track is "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)," a new song co-written by Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob, and Andy Paley.

Later this year, Pink will appear in a live-action sequence that will air during a special episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. The special also will include Cee-Lo's interpretation of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song, set to an all-new opening sequence.
