On February 13, 2009, Hiru Corporation announced that it is reviewing samples of a new product line for distribution in the Italian market. The products are single serve portions of a variety of alcoholic beverages packaged in unique soft portable stand-up pouches with an easy-tear open feature.

Hiru's initial evaluations show that there could be a strong market for the product in Italy. Negotiations will continue with the manufacturer for a distribution agreement.
