Alexa Robinson (@alexasrobinson) began as Pizza Hut's first summer twintern, maintaining @pizzahut on Twitter. When she was hired full time by the company, a new name was in order, and the Twitter community was tapped for suggestions.
During the Tweeter's New Title contest, more than two hundred submissions were considered, including "Sultan of Sauce," "Twitteroni," "Champion of Cheese," "Tweetza Chef," "Tweety Pie," "C Tweet O," "Personal Pan Tweetza," and "Social Media Delivery Driver."
Finally, a winner emerged, with Kate Gordan's (@MissKateGordon) suggestion of tweetologist. To reward her creativity, Pizza Hut has given Kate free pizza for a year.
