Olympic souvenir pin

On August 8, 2008, International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge and honorary president Juan Antonio Samaranch were present at a ceremony revealing the design of the Olympic souvenir pin at the Beijing Exhibition Center.

A new pin design is to be released every day for the next 17 days. Only 8,888 models of each pin design will be available for sale.

The first design released is that of a Coca Cola bottle cap. The complete collection of seventeen pins forms the shape of a Coca Cola bottle.

The pins can be purchased at souvenir pin kiosks located throughout the city, including one in the Olympic Village for athletes.
