On August 25, 2008, videoNEXT announced its wireless video surveillance management solution, SKM-Mobile. With the availability of videoNEXT's Security Knowledge Manager (SKM) technology on mobile devices, organizations will now be able to monitor and control live video surveillance cameras and receive alarm and event data remotely.

SKM-Mobile enables organizations to increase the responsiveness of their surveillance system by providing the ability to monitor and control live cameras and receive alarms all from a PDA or mobile phone working on Windows Mobile version 5 or 6. SKM-Mobile is a user name and password protected application that incorporates advanced video analytic technology to send alarms/alerts to the user's wireless device when user-defined events occur. It also provides users the capability to playback recorded and archived video on their PDA or mobile phone.
