On November 11, 2009, Digital Element announced that QuickPlay Media is using Digital Element's geolocation technology to provide secure distribution of TV episodes over mobile Wi-Fi connections for QuickPlay's PrimeTime2Go service.
Delivering access to popular shows from major networks and cable providers, PrimeTime2Go enables subscribers to download full-length episodes of their favorite TV shows to their mobile devices, and then watch them where and when they want. Because the content is currently available only to viewers in the United States, QuickPlay selected Digital Element's technology to manage subscriber access to premium content by geographic region.
