On May 21, 2010, Maui Jim announced the Rainbow Falls line of sunglasses. Famous for their highly effective anti-glare lenses, they are introducing stylish frames globally, in efforts to bring advanced UV sun protection to the fashion set.
Rainbow Falls is the first collection this summer and is available in a rainbow of fun colors; i.e. Cinnamon & Bubble Gum, Lilac & Pearl, Dusty Rose & Neutral Grey and Abalone & White Swirl. Each is a one-of-a-kind as they are hand-made in Italy. Lehua, Kaimana and Rainbow Falls' Lilac & Pearl are for those who prefer a white shade.
Cathi Volante explained the company's intention: "We wanted to offer women styles that are fashionable, yet healthy, providing excellent coverage from damaging glare and UV sun exposure. Maui Jim's PolarizedPlus 2 lenses absorb 99.9% of all reflective glare and with rare earth minerals in the lenses, enhancing color to improve the view.
