On September 16, 2008, the Limited Stores announced that it is launching its online store, an e-commerce website offering high-quality, private-label apparel designed for the modern woman. The site will carry a full selection of in-store apparel, as well as extended sizes, an outfitting guide, and a store locator.
The Limited features an array of trend-right American sportswear. After becoming independent from Limited Brands Incorporated in 2007, the creation of an e-commerce site was one of The Limited's first major business objectives. Extensive customer research was conducted to determine what customers wanted from the site. The result is an online store that is easy to navigate.
The online apparel store will include a selection of pants in short, regular and long lengths, select pant styles in sizes 14 through 18, and select tops in XL. Site visitors can search by category or keyword.
