Hyperbrake

Announced September 10, 2008, Janel Hydro Company has completed preliminary testing of the Hyperbrake system in Griffith, Indiana on General Motors and Toyota vehicles. The results indicate substantially shorter stopping distances than stock brake systems as well as the elimination of the vacuum boost system. The Hyperbrake system has the potential to save precious underhood space, improve fuel economy, and reduce required parts and their associated costs.

The Hyperbrake system has the ability to work as a stand-alone brake system or in combination with the stock braking systems on new or used vehicles. It is a hydraulic intensification device that increases system pressures with minimal effort. It allows the removal of the vacuum booster system which is currently standard on all new automobiles. Through removal of the booster, weight and fuel savings are created while eliminating the cost of the vacuum booster. On-vehicle preliminary testing shows stops 17 to 30 feet less than vehicles without the Hyperbrake system installed, thereby increasing vehicular safety.
