Goody's Model Search

Announced August 11, 2008, Alison McCaleb of Gardendale, Alabama will soon realize her dream of modeling, thanks to an amateur model search conducted this spring by Goody's Family Clothing. The 17-year-old was chosen from more than 1,000 applicants who submitted photographs for the annual contest.

Alison and her family will travel to New York City for a photo shoot complete with professionally styled hair and makeup and custom clothing from the popular denim brand Zana-di. In December, Alison will appear in Goody's Family Clothing's advertisement in Seventeen magazine.

Alison is currently a senior at Gardendale High School, where she plays on the varsity girls' basketball team. She is looking forward to her first trip to New York, and particularly the private tour of Seventeen magazine's offices. Alison and her family shop at the Goody's store in Gardendale's Northgate Village.
