Announced August 28, 2008, wind turbine distribution company Wind has secured a U.S. distribution agreement to market and sell commercial and residential wind turbines based on state-of-the-art European and Japanese technology. Wind says wind turbines -- effective as alternatives to traditional energy sources for commercial and residential consumers -- are in short supply nationwide.
Wind has distribution agreements for wind turbines manufactured by Wind Energy Solutions (WES) of Ompeer, The Netherlands for commercial turbines and Solar and Wind Energy Applications (SWEA) of Den Bosch, The Netherlands, for residential turbines. The WES 18 and the WES 30 systems produce 80 KW and 250 KW per hour, respectively. SWEA products yield from 300 watts to 20 KW per hour.
