Announced December 28, 2010, Livio Radio and DICE Electronics are partnering to make Internet radio easy to receive and control in cars.
DICE makes electrical components that connect smartphones to factory stereos and integrate them with their settings. Livio developed the Livio Radio Car Internet Radio App which, when installed on smartphones connected to the DICE components, provides seamless, subscription-free Internet radio access using factory stereo buttons and integrated audio controls on the steering wheel.
The DICE in-vehicle solution featuring the Livio Radio Car Internet Radio App requires the use of an iPhone or Android device. The phones' users control the car Internet radio app, offering more than 45,000 AM/FM and Internet-only stations, from the factory-installed car stereo system, including any integrated steering wheel audio controls.
