Announced November 12, 2009, Panasonic MW-10 audio system with iPod dock and photo frame will be available in December for $300. The picture frame combines photo display with music audio.
It has both a built-in CD player and an FM/AM radio tuner with 45-station presets. The speaker is constructed with rigid, low-density bamboo cones for pure sound and crisp dialogue. Diffusers installed in front of the speaker units disperse sound over a wide listening area. For robust bass sounds, the D.Bass function enhances bass in conjunction with the volume level.
The Universal Dock for iPod plays music and video downloads. The system has an included remote control which makes it easy to operate the iPod from a distance. With its 9-inch WVGA LCD, the MW-10 can display photos from a CD, SD Memory Card and internal memory. The 4 GB of internal memory stores image data for up to six thousand photos and provides hours of viewing and listening enjoyment. With the CD playing background music, it can display a photo slideshow.
