Sunkist Soda has joined with Gym Class Heroes to remake the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations for a TV ad campaign, online promotion, and One Tree Hill integration designed to reach a new generation with the original fun-in-the-sun anthem.

The new Sunkist Soda ad campaign featuring Good Vibrations launched at the end of April. The thirty-second spot opens with vibrant individuals dancing at a house party. The commercial cuts to animated oranges that discuss the benefits of Sunkist and express a desire to hang out with the Sunkist crowd. The commercial exudes fun, excitement, and youthfulness.

The updated version of Good Vibrations was featured on an episode of the hit show One Tree Hill.

In 1978, the original Good Vibrations, sung by the Beach Boys, was used to introduce consumers to Sunkist Soda. In 1981, Sunkist Orange Soda became one of the ten best selling carbonated soft drinks in the United States. Today, Sunkist and Diet Sunkist continue to lead the orange soda category.
