Shakira and Ludacris will perform on the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.
"The line-up of performers for the 2005 VMAs will be the most diverse, star-studded musical experience of the year," said Christina Norman of MTV. "The addition of the Shakira and Ludacris as performers will help take this year's show to the next level in terms of talent, spectacle, and excitement."
Shakira is nominated this year in the Best Female and Best Dance Video categories for La Tortura, which along with Daddy Yankee's Gasolina is the first ever all Spanish language video to be nominated for a VMA. This is the first time an artist will perform in Spanish on the VMA's.
