Restaurant Management : Hooters bus tour judges creativity and quality of promotions, staff, atmosphere, and operations | |||||

Hooters executives are in search of their happiest and best run location and are going to every store directly to see for themselves to judge restaurant service quality. The first round of the Hooters Makes You Happy tour begins on July 16 and runs through August 22. During this period, restaurant management will split up and visit every location on 2, 45-foot eye catching Hooters tour buses. Every store is given a day to create some excitement and is judged based on the creativity and quality of the promotion, staff, atmosphere and operations of the restaurant. After locations are narrowed down to the top 12, these stores will be revisited during the finals September 9-16 to determine the winner of the tour. The grand prize store will be awarded $20,000 to split between the managers and receive the 2004 Happiest Hooters Title. Hooters franchises and operates over 365 restaurants in 44 states and 11 foreign countries. The chain is well known for its brand of food and fun, featuring a casual beach-theme atmosphere, a menu that features seafood, sandwiches and signature chicken wings, and restaurant operations quality service provided by cheerful attractive waitresses. | |||||
