N95 Face Mask 3M Respirator : Filter out 95 percent of all microbes in the air

These masks are able to filter out 95 percent of all microbes in the air, including anthrax spores.

The United States Postal Service has purchased 4 million N95 face masks and shipped 2 million of them Tuesday, October 23 to 140 locations, starting on the East Coast.

The 3M Particulate Respirator Mask is NIOSH approved as an N95 respirator. It meets CDC guidlines for tuberculosis exposure control and is designed specifically for use in the healthcare setting. The 3M N95 mask has a soft inner shell for greater comfort against the face.

Because it is fluid resistant, it aids in reducing the potoential exposure of the wearer to blood and other body fluids. In addition, the 3M N95 mask contains no natural latex rubber components and its two sizes fit a wide range of face shapes and sizes.
