|
As part of its ongoing efforts to support the arts and help revitalize lower Manhattan, Grey Goose Vodka is pleased to be a sponsor of this year's Tribeca Film Festival which takes place May 3 - May 11. Grey Goose will be served at the opening and closing night galas and will make an appearance at many of the festival's events, including the Black Filmmaker Foundation's 25th Anniversary Celebration. The feature drink of the festival is The Tribeca-Tini (Grey Goose Le Citron shaken over ice, served in a sugar-rimmed glass with a lemon wedge). Introduced in 1997, Grey Goose is now the best-selling ultra-premium vodka in the country. Named "The World's Best Tasting Vodka" by the Beverage Testing Institute, Grey Goose has been a part of many film festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance, Newport Film Festival, and the Toronto Film Festival. "We are thrilled to be a part of this year's Tribeca Film Festival," says Lee Einsidler, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc. of New York, the owners and importers of Grey Goose Vodka. "It is not a coincidence that Grey Goose shows up at many events supporting and celebrating film. The arts are important to us, and this festival, with its roots in New York, is very near and dear to us." The Tribeca Film Festival was founded by Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal in 2002 to celebrate New York City as a major filmmaking center and to contribute to the long-term recovery of lower Manhattan. This year, more than 300 US and international feature, documentary, and short films will be shown. | ||
