Staying true to the Mudd Jeans mission, "To provide the junior market with a fresh, hip line", Mudd Jeans introduces their new denim collection, Delicious Curves by Mudd.
Designed to flatter the curvy girl aged 15 to 24, the line features the renowned Mudd fit and flare, comes in seventeen designs and features embellishments such as crystals, lace trim, embroidery, bleaching, and tacking - elements not often found in jeans at the moderate price point.
As the leading junior jeans brand, Mudd now greatly expands its reach with Delicious Curves and continues its strong commitment to empower girls and celebrate the diversity of teens in America today.
"We're extending the brand to all segments and cultures including urban, Latina, and curvier women, to whom certain items in Mudd weren't available", said Mudd's Jay Gorman.
Platinum recording artist and actress Ashanti is the spokesperson for Delicious Curves by Mudd, and will represent the brand in a national launch campaign featuring personal appearances, an ad campaign and television spot, sweepstakes, and prizes. Ashanti remarked, "As a female, it is important to find the jean that fits perfectly and Delicious Curves is that jean, but it is also great to represent a collection whose price point is affordable to all girls."

Beginning mid November, Delicious Curves by Mudd will offer girls throughout the country a series of Delicious Days. Ashanti will make two in-store appearances to begin and end the promotion. Seventeen Magazine will sponsor both days of activities where girls who have purchased the jean will meet Ashanti.
At locations across the country, street teams of Delicious Divas will be promoting the launch of Delicious Curves and explaining its unique fit. Delicious Divas will be on-site to give away free gifts for every girl who tries on a pair of Delicious Curves and to promote entry into our Delicious Curves online model contest.
Beginning mid-November, girls can enter to win to be a model by uploading a picture of themselves in their Delicious Curves jeans.
All entrants' photos will be posted on the website, which will feature a public voting process. The winner will be featured on the site and will win a VIP experience with Ashanti that includes Behind the Scenes experience at an Ashanti video shoot and an Ashanti fragrance/music package.
